Mr David Hodge
Dual CEO – Operations
David is a seasoned Business Executive with extensive experience in business start-ups and general management, and has specialised in the healthcare sector for the last 25 years.
Over the last 10 years, David has been providing strategic business advice to a wide range of clients in the healthcare sector, ranging from regional health authorities to private hospitals and day surgeries, and is well known to a number of Ekera’s Stakeholders.
Prior to establishing his specialist consultancy company, Axtrim Group Pty Ltd, David held several Senior Management roles in the industry including at Bovis Lend Lease, Australian Hospital Care Pty Ltd and Monash IVF.
David originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant and therefore has strong financial skills and fiscal discipline. David’s expertise is a welcomed addition to the Ekera Group of Companies.
Mr Graeme Taylor
Chief Financial Officer
Graeme Taylor comes to Ekera with over 25 years’ experience in both Operations and Finance. With a Business Finance Degree and further Post Graduate qualifications, Graeme has earned the title of CPA.
Graeme’s professional career has included time spent both in the accounting profession as well as a number of selected Industry appointments. Having held the position of Asia Pacific Financial Controller for Tandem Computers, Graeme spent a great deal of time throughout the Oceania region, the USA and Europe developing an International Reporting system for the Company while being responsible for a Division turning over in excess of $200,000,000 USD, utilising 700 staff and reporting activities across 13 individual countries.
More recently Graeme worked in the communications sector for Phillips and with a number of smaller organisations assisting them to restructure their operations.
An important aspect of his life is family and with his wife Jo, Graeme loves to spend time with their 3 children exploring outback destinations.
Ms Christelle Bouzeid
Project Co-Ordinator
Christelle completed a Bachelor of Business in 2010. Since then, Christelle has gained experience as a Junior Business Development Manager working for a large, privately-owned, national transport company where she was responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimising business relationships.
As Ekera’s Project Co-Ordinator, Christelle is responsible for providing strategic, operational and other assistance to the Ekera Executive Team with regard to the identification, analysis, commercial evaluation, securement and related project management activities for new or existing properties or activities, to fulfil the objectives of the Company’s designated growth plan.
Christelle will assist to conduct the operations of the Ekera Group of Companies and to identify potential future sites, mechanisms for securing the sites and to perform initial site feasibility studies to support the consideration of new Ekera Medical facilities. Christelle will also assist to identify new business opportunities, growth mechanisms and entry to market options for the Company.
